How to install the Telemetry Tool for older Codemasters games

Here are the steps.

1. If you have not yet downloaded the Tool,
   Download the install .zip file
2. Unzip to any location on your system, e.g:
• C:\Program files\Telemetry Tool\
• Some other director, like c:\bin\tt
• E.g. For testing, to Desktop
3. Start the tool with the runWin.bat. This will show the launcher. Select the game you want to use the Tool for and press 'Launch'
4. If the tool started, close it.
5. Now start the game once, if you haven't done so yet.
6. Edit in 'My Games' - game's directory - 'hardwaresettings' the hardware_settings_config.xml and enable the UDP feed. You must set 'enabled="true" in the 'motion' section. Set extradata to 2.
7. Start the Tool with the launcher (i.e. runWin.bat)
8. Start the game
9. If all is done properly, when you start driving (or actually start the session), you should start seeing data in the Tool.
